Fish Allergy Test

The Fish Allergy Test looks for allergic reactions to various types of fish.  Allergic reactions to fish can develop at any time in a person's life even if they have had no prior problems.  Allergy symptoms usually develop shortly after eating and can include abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, itching and hives.  In severe cases, a person may develop anaphylaxis which can include swelling of the throat, a severe drop in blood pressure and unconsciousness.  This test looks for IgE antibodies and provides numerical results.
