Specimen Types: Blood,Urine

Description: The Peace of Mind package is our most popular package. It includes HIV-1 Abs, Hepatitis B Panel, Hepatitic C Antibody, Herpes 1&2 IgG ELISA, Syphilis RPR, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Turnaround time is typically 1-3 business days. (Please refer to individual tests for detailed test descriptions.)

Incubation Period: The incubation period varies per test. (Please refer to individual test descriptions for specific incubation periods.)

Requirements: Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are urine tests. Client should withhold urination for at least 1-2 hours prior to specimen collection. Client should provide a first catch of urine, about 20-30 ml, from the initial stream into the collection cup and allow remainder of the stream to go into the toilet. Larger volumes may result in the dilution of the specimen and reduce sensitivity. Clients should not cleanse the genital area 1-2 hours prior to giving their urine specimen.
