The TPO Antibodies test may also be used to help diagnose and monitor autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Grave's Disease and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. The TPO Antibodies test may also be useful in determining if a pregnant woman is at risk for passing thyroid disease onto her child.
