The 10 Panel Urine Drug Test looks for common drugs of abuse in a urine sample. This test offers a wider selection of drugs than a standard test for people who need a more comprehensive screening. In addition to the same components as a standard 10 Panel Urine test, this test also includes a wider selection of opiates (pain killers). The detection time for drugs in urine can vary, but in general, most drugs are detectable in urine for up to 3 days after use. Factors such as a person's metabolism, how much they have taken, and how often they take it can affect the detection period. Marijuana can build up in a person's system when they use it frequently. For a frequent marijuana user, the detection time in urine can be up to a month or more. Please note that some types of prescription medication may cause a positive result on a drug test.
