Description:
The 8 Panel Blood Drug test looks for common drugs of abuse. Because most drugs are metabolized quickly, blood drug testing has a shorter detection window that other specimen types. This test is typically done to see if a person is currently or recently under the influence of various drugs. The detection for most drugs is typically 12 hours or less but may be up to a day or two in some cases. Marijuana may have a longer detection period for chronic users. If the initial screening detects anything, confirmatory testing will be performed at no additional cost.

Turnaround time for this test is typically 5-8 business days but additional time may be required if confirmation testing is necessary.

At this time, Request A Test does not offer DOT (Department of Transportation) certified testing.

Please be aware that due to national staffing shortages at the labs, results for drug testing may take longer than normal. Request A Test cannot guarantee turnaround time for test results.
Please note that not all lab locations are able to perform the collections for blood drug testing. When placing a testing order online you will only be able to select from lab locations which are able to perform this type of testing.
Customers testing in the state of California should call their selected lab to verify that they can do specimen collections for a chain of custody blood drug test.
The use of products containing Delta-8-THC may interfere with the results of this test. The amount of time delta-8 remains in the system after use will vary. For accurate results, it is recommended to have not used or consumed delta-8 products for at least 2-3 weeks prior to submitting a specimen for testing.
Please note: This test will not be submitted to a Medical Review Officer (MRO). We offer Rapid Urine Drug Testing and Saliva Drug Testing that will include an MRO review only if at least one positive appears on the test results. Please contact Request A Test with any questions.
This test is intended to screen for drugs of abuse and is not appropriate for pain management or therapeutic monitoring. Customers who require pain management testing should consult their prescribing physician.
