Description:
LSD (Acid) Blood Drug Test
This test looks for LSD in a blood sample. LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), commonly known as Acid, is a hallucinogenic drug. It affects the regulation of serotonin in the brain which can cause a variety of effects on mood, motor control, and sensory perception. LSD is typically taken orally and produces a high which can include hallucinations that affect various senses. Side effects of LSD can include dizziness, increased blood pressure, numbness, nausea, insomnia, and weakness. In some cases, LSD can produce feelings of panic, fear, or depression.
LSD is detectable in blood for only a short time after ruse. The detection period is typically 6-24 hours but may vary depending on a variety of factors including how much a person has taken. This test provides an initial screen with a confirmatory test run on positives. Positive results will provide a numerical value. If nothing is detected, results will report as negative. A Urine Screen, as well as a Urine Confirmation test for LSD, are also available.
Turnaround time is typically 5-8 business days but additional time may be required if confirmatory testing is necessary.
At this time, Request A Test does not offer DOT (Department of Transportation) certified testing.
