This test looks for Marijuana in a urine sample. Marijuana is made from the dried flowers of the cannabis plant. After alcohol, marijuana is the most commonly used psychotropic drug in the United States. The primary psychoactive chemical in marijuana is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). While recent years have seen the legalization of medical or recreational marijuana sale and use in some parts of the country, it remains illegal under federal law. With the growing popularity of vaping devices, marijuana use among young people has increased significantly. However, age limits of 18-21 still make it illegal for minors to purchase or use marijuana in any part of the US. Even in areas where marijuana sales have bee legalized, many employers maintain a zero-tolerance policy on any form of drug use. Marijuana testing can be useful for a variety of purposes included pre-employment, court-ordered, or personal testing.
This marijuana urine test will include an initial screen with a confirmatory test performed automatically in the event that anything is detected. Positive results will provide a numerical value for the level detected. Negative results will simply say "negative."
The detection period for marijuana in urine can vary depending on a number of factors including weight and metabolism. A significant factor is the amount and frequency of use. A one-time use will typically be detectable for up to 3 days. A person who uses marijuana frequently or in large quantities may be detectable for up 30 days or more.

The use of products containing Delta-8-THC may interfere with the results of this test. The amount of time delta-8 remains in the system after use will vary. For accurate results, it is recommended to have not used or consumed delta-8 products for at least 2-3 weeks prior to submitting a specimen for testing.
