Red Snapper Allergy Test
This test is used to determine if a person may have an allergic reaction to Red Snapper, a type of fish. Allergy testing measures IgE antibodies to determine how severe of an allergy someone possesses. Fish allergies can cause a variety of symptoms including itching, hives, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, face, or tongue, and difficulty breathing. In severe cases, allergies can trigger anaphylaxis which can be life-threatening. Most people who are allergic to one type of fish or seafood will be allergic to other varieties as well.
