Western Ragweed Allergy Test
This test is used to determine if a person may have an allergic reaction to Western Ragweed. Allergy testing measures IgE antibodies to determine how severe of an allergy someone possesses. Ragweed is a common weed that grows throughout the United States. Allergic reactions to Ragweed are most common during the late summer and fall periods when the plants release their pollen. There are several varieties of ragweed and people with an allergic reaction to one type have a higher likelihood of being allergic to other varieties. We also offer testing for allergies to False Ragweed, Short Ragweed, and Giant Ragweed.
