Description:
10 Panel Blood MRO Drug Screening
This test includes an MRO review. An MRO is a licensed physician who reviews and interprets laboratory results. This helps to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process. See below for more details.**
MRO drug tests are priced $30 higher than the equivalent non-MRO test. A 10-panel Blood Drug Test without MRO is also available for a lower cost with quicker turnaround.
The 10 Panel Blood Drug Test screens for 10 common drugs of abuse. Because most drugs are metabolized quickly, blood drug testing has a shorter detection window than other specimen types. This test is typically done to see if a person is currently or recently under the influence of various drugs. The detection for most drugs is typically 12 hours or less, but may be up to a day or two in some cases. Marijuana may have a longer detection period for chronic users. If the initial screening detects anything, confirmatory testing will be performed at no additional cost.
The Drug Test - 10 Panel Blood looks for:
- Amphetamines (including Methamphetamine)
- Barbiturates
- Benzodiazepines
- Cocaine
- Opiates (Codeine, Morphine, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone, Dihydrocodeine, 6-MAM)
- Oxycodone
- Phencyclidine (a.k.a. PCP)
- Cannabinoid (a.k.a. Marijuana/THC)
- Methadone
- Propoxyphene
**Once the testing is complete, the results will be sent to a Medical Review Officer (MRO).**
- All test results, positive and negative, will be signed by the MRO.
- Negative test results will be reviewed, signed, and released by the MRO without contacting the customer.
- Positive test results (one or more positive) will be contacted by MRO to review and medications the customer may be taking for documentation.
- The MRO will make 3 attempts to contact the customer. After 3 attempts, if they are unable to contact the customer, the results will be signed and released.
- At the MRO's discretion, a positive result may be changed to negative if they can verify that it was caused by medication that was being taken as prescribed.
Please see our MRO Drug Testing category for a full selection of testing options that include MRO review. For all other drug testing options, please see our All Drug Testing category.
Turnaround time for results:
- Results are provided after the MRO review process has been completed.
- Negative results typically turn around in 6-12 business days (5-8 business days for the lab to complete testing + 1-3 business days for the MRO to review, sign, and release the results).
- Positive results typically turn around in 12-19 business days (10-14 business days for the lab to complete testing + up to 5 business days for the MRO to contact the customer, review, sign, and release the results).

The use of products containing Delta-8-THC may interfere with the results of this test. The amount of time delta-8 remains in the system after use will vary. For accurate results, it is recommended to have not used or consumed delta-8 products for at least 2-3 weeks prior to submitting a specimen for testing.
This test is intended to screen for drugs of abuse and is not appropriate for pain management or therapeutic monitoring. Customers who require pain management testing should consult their prescribing physician.
Customers testing in the state of California should call their selected lab to verify that they can do specimen collections for a chain of custody blood drug test.
