Medical Review Officer (MRO) Drug Tests

All drug tests on this page include MRO (medical review officer) services.

An MRO is a licensed physician who reviews and interprets laboratory results. This helps to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process.  All test results will be sent to the MRO upon completion for review and signature.  In the event of a positive result, they will consult the donor to verify if there's a legitimate medical explanation for the positive result.  MRO services are not required for all drug testing, but may be a requirement for testing that is done for official purposes such as probation, employment, or court order.

Important Information:

  • Employers, call Request A Test at 1-888-732-2348 to open a free account for workplace or candidate testing.
  • Request A Test does not offer DOT (Department of Transportation) certified testing.
  • Drug testing orders for which the donor goes to the lab and initiates the collection process, but does not provide a valid specimen, are not eligible for a refund.
