Description:

Coenzyme Q10 Blood Test

This test measures Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) levels in the blood.  CoQ10 is an antioxidant which contributes to basic cellular function.  Lower than normal CoQ10 levels are associated with a number of conditions including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV, muscular dystrophy, certain genetic disorders, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

The CoQ10 test may be done as part of a cancer or heart disease screening or to monitor treatment for conditions such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's Disease.

Turnaround time for the CoQ10 test is typically 1-3 business days.

Requirements:
