TSI Blood Test Online

Description:

TSI Blood Test (Labcorp)

The TSI (Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin) Blood Test is used to aid in the diagnosis of autoimmune disorders which affect the Thyroid.  TSI is typically tested in people who are suspected of having conditions such as Grave's Disease in which the body produces antibodies which attack the thyroid gland.

This test is usually used as a follow up to tests such as the the Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies or Thyroglobulin Antibodies to help a person's doctor differentiate between types of autoimmune disorders or determine the severity of a disorder.  A TSI test is often recommended when someone shows signs of hyperthyroidism such as high levels of T3 and T4 coupled with low levels of TSH or for pregnant women who are experiencing symptoms of thyroid disorder.

Turnaround time for this test is typically 5-7 business days.
