This allergy panel tests for allergies to various species of weeds that commonly pollinate during the fall season. The beginning of fall can trigger allergy symptoms in a lot of people as various weeds such as ragweed begin to release their pollen. Pollen can travel hundreds of miles so even people who don't live anywhere near the source can be affected. Since most allergies display similar symptoms it can be difficult to determine what you are allergic to. Blood allergy testing provides numerical results for IgE antibody levels to help determine how severe a reaction a person will have.
