Women's Health Panel

The Women's Health Test Panel includes seven common tests specifically designed to monitor a woman's health and wellbeing.  These tests include measurements for cholesterol, blood sugar, liver and kidney function, heart health, thyroid function and more.   This package can be ordered for a preventative general health screening or to monitor specific health concerns.

This package includes:

  • CBC with differential
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) 
  • Lipid Panel Cholesterol Test
  • Vitamin D-25 Hydroxy
  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP) High Sensitivity
  • Urinalysis (Complete)
  • Thyroid Basic Panel with TSH

Turnaround time is typically 1-3 business days. (Please refer to individual tests for detailed test descriptions.)

Requirements:

Lipid Panel & CMP: Requires fasting for 9-12 hours prior to going in for blood collection.

Urinalysis, Complete: Clean genital area just prior to giving sample. Midstream or clean urine collection preferred. Begin to urinate in the toilet then collect a few ounces into the collection cup - finish in the toilet.

It is recommended that someone taking Biotin (also known as vitamin B7 or B8, vitamin H, or coenzyme R) stop consumption at least 72 hours prior to the collection of a sample.

Specimen collection after fluorescein dye angiography should be delayed for at least 3 days. For people on hemodialysis, specimen collection should be delayed for 2 weeks.

Oral contraceptives, IUDs, pregnancy, and menstruation may raise hs-CRP levels.  Levels are lowest during ovulation.
