Eucalyptus Allergy Blood Test

This test is used to measure a person's allergic reaction to Eucalyptus.  Eucalyptus is a type of evergreen tree that is native to Australia but cultivated in many parts of the world.  Oil from eucalyptus leaves is used in a number of topical medicinal products including decongestants, anti-inflammatories, and moisturizers.  Teas made from eucalyptus leaves are often used for their medicinal effects.  Allergic reactions to eucalyptus pollen are rare because they release very little airborne pollen.  People who are allergic to eucalyptus oil will need to check ingredients before using a variety of medical cremes and ointments.

Common symptoms include skin rash, itching, hives, coughing, sneezing, difficulty breathing, red eyes, runny nose, and swelling.  The severity of the symptoms can vary depending on the person.
